Lost in Sauce
Driven by isolation and the weight of solitude, my experiences working through the pandemic in hospitals revealed just how fragile reality truly is. Each day was a reminder of life’s delicate balance, surrounded by resilience and vulnerability in equal measure.
In the quiet moments after work, I would turn to painting. Without intention or foresight, my daily activities began to reflect themselves on the canvas—subconscious echoes of what I had lived through. I didn’t fully understand this process within me at the time, but over countless nights, I came to recognize something profound.
The reality I was painting felt as though it was coming from somewhere beyond myself—an unspoken connection to a truth larger than my individual experience. Gutters Art became a manifestation of this realization, where art bridges the inner and outer worlds, revealing the unseen threads that tie us to something greater.
